Ex 32:9 And again the Lord said to Moses: See that this people is stiffnecked:
Ex 33:3 That thou mayst enter into the land that floweth with milk and honey. For I will not go up with thee, because thou art a stiffnecked people: lest I destroy thee in the way.
Ex 33:5 And the Lord said to Moses: Say to the children of Israel: Thou art a stiffnecked people; once I shall come up in the midst of thee, and shall destroy thee. Now presently lay aside thy ornaments, that I may know what to do to thee.
