It steals from the Lord.
ΚορΑʹ 6:13 Meat for the belly, and the belly for the meats; but God shall destroy both it and them: but the body is not for fornication, but for the Lord, and the Lord for the body.
ΚορΑʹ 6:15 Know you not that your bodies are the members of Christ? Shall I then take the members of Christ, and make them the members of an harlot? God forbid.
It steals prosperity.
Παρ 29:3 A man that loveth wisdom, rejoiceth his father: but he that maintaineth harlots, shall squander away his substance.
Σει 9:6 Give not thy soul to harlots in any point: lest thou destroy thyself and thy inheritance.
Λου 15:13 And not many days after, the younger son, gathering all together, went abroad into a far country: and there wasted his substance, living riotously.
It strives for the forbidden.
